Aaron Trolia - Weekend Pitching Training

Hi All Raptors,

From Aaron:

Seasons greetings everyone,

I know I have spoken with some of you individually about the weekly group pitching/throwing/speed and conditioning workouts that I am putting together but I wanted to let everyone know the latest details.

I am trying to limit the groups to 4-8 players but may expand to 10 once we get going, if we do expand to 10 I am going to extend the time per session. We WILL BE INSIDE FOR ALL WORKOUTS! The details are below. (The times could be bumber back a half hour each depending on the scheduling, the faster I fill the groups, the quicker I can solidify the times, so once I get 4 players, I will hold the time.)

Each player will know EXACTLY what he needs to work on individually between sessions.

I will definately be adding extra sessions for each age group for overflow since there is a lot of interest already. As always, you all have first crack. I have already posted on Tacomabaseball.com but will give you all till Friday before I take any new clients. So let me know. I hope everyone is doing well. Also, the beginnings of my webpage is now available at Atbaseball.com if you want to check it out even though there is not much to see yet! haha

Topics covered but not limited to:
Lower/upper body direction
Explosive weight transfer with the proper timing neccessary for success
Protecting your shoulder and elbow
Full pitching mechanics breakdown
Gaining power and velocity with reduced shoulder/elbow stress
Commanding the baseball
Pick-offs
Fielding your position
Gaining confidence by improving mechanics
Mental relaxation and visualization approaches
Pitching inside/Owning the plate
Off speed pitches (breaking pitches for age appropriate)
Endurance
Conditioning
Shoulder and Elbow band/low weight workouts

The training groups will be Sunday evenings beginning December 12th at

Impact Sports Academy

2818 69th Ave. West, University Place, WA 98466

WORKOUTS ARE SUNDAY EVENINGS!!

Dave Niehaus Gone, But Not Forgotten

SEATTLE -- Dave Niehaus, the iconic announcer who has broadcast Seattle Mariners baseball games since the team's first days in 1977 has died. He was 75.

In his honor, the Raptors have added a tribute to the home page of our website, the video and his call of the 1995 ALDS Game 5.

For most Raptor players and parents, he is the only voice of the Mariners we have ever known, and we are going to miss him.
